It’s already the end of February, which means we are nearing the end of winter. While we await nicer weather and longer days, there are still a few essential items you should add to your checklist for your home. Here are a few tips on transitioning into the new season the right way and ending the second month of the new year off perfectly. 

Clean Up Your Lawn

With the handful of winter storms we’ve been getting, now is the time to give your yard a proper clean-up. Clear away any extra debris on your grass, or start planting flowers, so you’ll have a nice bloom come spring. If you can start increasing your curb appeal, it’s a great way to start March! 

Start Investing in Mulch

The season of growth is on the way, and to allow for some beautiful bloom around your home this spring, you’ll need high-quality mulch or topsoil! Mulch can be used in various ways, from providing insulation for plants during cold spells to deterring weeds and even as a path surface material.

Fill Your Propane Levels

From cooking to lighting your fire pits, propane is a customers’ best choice for an inexpensive, versatile source of fuel. So, now is the time to check if you’re running low on your propane supply. You can check the gauge on the outside of the tank or call in for an inspection from one of our technicians.

Get Your AC Checked

If you haven’t had your AC checked in a while, now is the time to do it. Even though there’s still plenty of time before the warm weather sets in, getting your AC checked or maintained by a professional now will give you peace of mind and prepare you for when things heat up.
