Summer maintenance now will ensure you have no issues in fall and winter. Here are some tips to help get you started:

Schedule Cleanings

Regular cleanings are important during fall and winter when your chimney and fireplace are being used the most, but what about during summer? Believe it or not, cleanings should occur in the summer too. That is because debris and dust can begin to build-up in these spots, even while you’re not using it. 

Have Annual Inspections

You don’t need to wait until the last minute to get a check up in these spots. Getting your inspection done during summer will help make sure everything is ready to be used again next season. Annual inspections are also important for safety, as these fixtures need to be working properly in order to be safe to use. 

Install Chimney Cap
